Meet The speaker


Mr. Khoo Kheng-Hor
Author/Internationally-acclaimed Speaker
Khoo Kheng-Hor “hung up his sword” in 1999 when he was 43 years old, to quit the corporate world for a carefree life in his mountain sanctuary, with his wife, Judy, and Bandit (a Yorkshire terrier). There, he concentrates on his writing. He has published 29 business and management books (most of which are based on the 500 BC Sun Tzu’s Art of War), two Christian books, a collection of short stories, and four novels, two of which, Taikor and Sifu, were nominated for the 2006 and 2011 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
After Judy passed away in 2007, followed by Bandit in 2010, Khoo, being a sought-after speaker on Sun Tzu’s Art of War in contemporary business and management at corporate in-house seminars and conferences, still travels some five to 10 days each month throughout the region to “suntzunize” his audience.
As a consultant/trainer to the Singapore Police Force since 1995, he was conferred the rank of a honorary Assistant Superintendent of Police in 1997, and promoted to Deputy Superintendent in 2009

Dr. Maricor is the first Filipina Awardee for SME, given by the International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge – IWEC, held in Manhattan, New York, USA in 2011. Few years later, Dr. Maricor again received the award as Exceptional Woman of Excellence at the Women Economic Forum 2018 held in New Delhi, India. This recognition was followed by another honor, the Outstanding Lady Entrepreneur and Civic Leader awarded by World Class Excellence at their 21st celebration on 24 August 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Moreover, she is one of the contributors of TALENTED Philippines, published by PAGE UP (Global Research) based in Singapore. The book was launched on 18th March 2015 at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati, Philippines.
In the international exposure, Dr. Maricor participated in the Haggai Leader Experience (HLE) held in Maui, Hawaii, USA in 2010. In December 2010, was elected as the 1st President of PHIAA Metro Manila Chapter, represented in various Annual General Assembly and Past BOD of PHIAA. After which, she was among the chosen few to attend International Faculty Development (IFD) Program in Maui, Hawaii in 2017. From then on, she joined the International Faculty Member, facilitating in the subject of Leadership in Maui, Hawaii.
Dr. Maricor is passionately empowering women through Education, Training Opportunities, Employment and Entrepreneurship. In her pursuit to uplift the household women to be an Entrepreneur, she created a Training School for Literacy and Livelihood..
