The Diploma in Management (ODL) is designed to appreciate learner’s experience in the industry and helps them to nurture their pre-existing skills to become excellent managers, administrative officer and decision-makers with broad strategic vision. This programme views management as an integrated process and helps students develop a global view and respond effectively to changes in the economic, technological, cultural, and political environments. Specific skills in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and management are set as the core of the programme to produce creative problem solvers that will be desirable by future employees.   1. Applicant must be at least 18 years and above
  2. Finish SPM/Secondary School with a minimum 3 credits or;
  3. 2 years working experience with APEL A
  4. Proficiency in English Language* (ESOL Placement Test)

Duration and Method:
2.5 year – 1,5 year
  • 50% Exam, 50% Assignment
  • An individual piece of management report of about 2000 words that requires students to critically appraise on the respective assignments
  • Students will be required to attend the APEL-C assessment to complete the whole programme
  • Outline the concepts and theories of management
  • Apply practical and theoretical understanding to solve business management problems
  • Show entrepreneurial skills in addressing business management related issues while applying digitalisation in executing tasks.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal, effective communication and social skills
  • Display professional and ethical business management conduct
  • Use the skills and principles of lifelong learning in their academic and career development leading towards leadership characteristics
